Add – Drop – Withdrawal
Adding:
During the first week of the term students may add on-line via web registrationMountie Hub. During the second through the fourth weeks of the term, students may add classes at the discretion of the instructor. Students must provide a completed registration form along with an instructor’s signature or email approval. Starting the fifth week, or if the class is full, only the College Dean may approve exceptions. Requests for exceptions may be brought to the Deans only upon the instructor’s prior approval of the request.

No class may be added after the end of the regular instructional period under any circumstances.[meaning, no courses may be added during finals week or after the end of the term.]
Dropping:

A student may drop from a course for any reason with no record on the student’s transcript before the end of the 4th week of the term. If a student is unable to drop through Mountie Hub, they may submit aRegistration Form送交教务处。之后，学生必须退出课程(见退课政策)。
*EOU summer refund dates listed above are for the full 10 week term courses. Some summer course offerings have different refund dates based on the times the courses are offered. See the ‘Summer Calendar‘ page for the courses that are less than 10 weeks in length and their refund dates.
Students dropping after the 1st week of the term may also be subject to tuition and fee penalties. Drop fees will be assessed starting the 2nd week of the term through the end of the drop period.

Withdrawing:
There are two types of withdrawal – withdrawal from a course and withdrawal from the University.
From a course:
A student may withdraw from the Monday of the 5th week of the term through 5pm on Friday of the 7th week with a grade of “W” indicated on the transcript.
No withdrawals will be issued after 5pm on Friday of the 7th week of the term. Instructors will issue a letter grade (A-F, or I) for all students enrolled after the 7th week. A student making adequate academic progress during the term and needing to withdraw after the 7th week may request an incomplete from the instructor.

Fees will be assessed in accordance with the fee policies stated in the Schedule of Classes.
From the University:
A student may withdraw from the University at any time during the term by the last day of regularly scheduled classes by completing theRegistration Formand indicating a complete withdrawal.
Cancellation (Cancel Registration) Policy:
