The Outdoor Adventure Program at Eastern Oregon University
A transformational change is in store for the Outdoor Adventure Program in the coming months. The OAP will have a new home in the soon-to-be completed field house. This includes a 30,000 cubic foot rental shop and 70,000 cubic foot climbing center.
OAP SUMMER HOURS
The OAP rental shop is open to the public! Rental shop hours are Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Friday from 12-5pm.

The Outdoor Program at Eastern Oregon University began in the Fall of 1973 when non-credit backpacking classes were offered and the first outdoor equipment was purchased. Since 1973 the program has continued to provide opportunities for the EOU community to learn about and explore the incredible natural environment surrounding La Grande.

Today, the OAP oversees an equipment rental program that provides a wide range of outdoor recreation equipment for students, faculty/staff, and community members. The OAP also offers for-credit OUT courses, clinics, guided trips, climbing wall, and hosts an extensive outdoor adventure resource library.

Climbing Wall
Located inside Quinn Coliseum in the upstairs balcony of the main gym the climbing wall is available to students and community members. The climbing wall is open Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm to 8:00pm. We cater to large groups like scout troops, church groups, non-profit organizations, and also do private reservations for events like birthday parties. BOOK NOW!

OAP Twin Lakes Adventure
