Hours of Operation
The Student Health Center is closed during the summer. We will reopen again on Monday, September 26th, 2021. We are checking email and voicemail several times a week over the summer months.
Student Health remains open during the academic school year and dedicated to providing EOU students with excellent and confidential primary care, and wellness services. In alignment with public health efforts related to COVID-19 we are using virtual telephone and telehealth visits whenever possible, and are asking that all students call our office first before coming in. We will remain open and available during our regular hours listed below for any care that requires an in person visit.
Monday-Thursday 8:30 am-5:00 pm
Closed for lunch from 12:00-1:00 pm Monday-Thursday
Friday 8:30 am-12:30 pm
To make an appointment please call (541) 962-3524. Walk-in service is not available. We are currently asking that all students call first prior to coming in for regularly scheduled appointments, and answer a few screening questions related to COVID-19.
If you have flu like symptoms (fever, cough or shortness of breath) remain home and call the Student Health Center or your primary care provider.Calling ahead helps us to determine the most appropriate care.

After Hours Care
Severe injuries or illnesses occurring after hours can be evaluated at the Grande Ronde Hospital Emergency Department at the student’s expense.Grande Ronde Hospitalis located at 900 Sunset Avenue, La Grande, Oregon. Grande Ronde Hospital main line 541-963-8421.
We advise that you only use the Emergency Room for truly urgent circumstances, as it is very expensive and may not be covered by your personal insurance.
