Tim Seydel

Tim Seydel – Vice President of University Advancement

Tim Seydel graduated from EOU in 1989 and serves as Vice President for University Advancement which includes the EOU Alumni Association, the EOU Foundation, development and fundraising, institutional communications, marketing, government relations and public affairs. Tim returned to his alma mater in 1999 as Director of University Relations after working in higher education in Montana and Iowa, and in 2009 he was appointed EOU’s first Advancement VP. He has been appointed by two governors to serve as chair the Northeast Oregon Regional Solutions Advisory Committee and is active in community organizations including the Northeast Oregon Economic Development District Board, the Union County Economic Development Corporation, and is a current member and past president of the La Grande Noon Rotary Club. Tim was born and raised in La Grande, and enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and is an active runner, cyclist, mountain biker, skier and scuba diver.

Emily Adams

Emily Adams – Executive Director of Philanthropy

Emily Adams joins EOU as the Executive Director of Philanthropy for University Advancement and the EOU Foundation. Prior to arriving at EOU, Emily spent two and a half years as a major gift officer for the College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences at Washington State University. From 2009 to 2018, she worked as a Development Officer at the University of Idaho, Department of Athletics. Specializing in annual giving, board development, campaign project management, stewardship and special events. Emily graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in Organizational Sciences in 2019. She enjoys spending time with her two kids and being outdoors hiking, running, biking, kayaking and camping.

Tyler Dubsky – Major Gifts Officer

Tyler Dubsky graduated from EOU in 2003 and serves as a Development Officer for University Advancement. He has vast experience of engaging alumni and friends of the university. His primary focus is on raising support for student scholarships, athletic and music programs and capital projects. He takes joy in spending time with his family and enjoys running and biking outside in the sun. He is not a huge fan of the rain.

Suzannah Moore-Hemann

Suzannah Moore – Assistant Director of Stewardship & Scholarships

Suzannah Moore Hemann graduated from EOU with two bachelor’s and a master’s degree in 2008, 2009, and 2010. After serving as an EOU Foundation Trustee and member of the Board of Directors since 2018, Suzannah currently serves as the Assistant Director of Stewardship and Scholarships. Suzannah’s experience ranges from healthcare administration to public accounting to community and economic development and nonprofit leadership. Suzannah’s background and expertise focus on organizational development and lean / six sigma strategies, as well as event planning. Suzannah currently serves as the treasurer for the Eastern Oregon Visitors Association, as well as a member of the board of directors for both the Union County Chamber of Commerce and Northeast Oregon Development District. Suzannah was born and raised in La Grande, and in her free time enjoys golfing, cycling, sunning, home renovation projects, cooking, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. She also loves dogs. A lot.

Michelle Mudder

Michelle Mudder – Assistant Director for Annual Giving & Alumni Engagement

Gerri Silveira – Fiscal and Database Manager

Gerradette (Gerri) Silveira joined EOU and the University Advancement team in 2005. She is the Fiscal Manager and Database Manager for the EOU Foundation. Gerri manages the EOU Foundation finances and privately funded scholarships. Gerri was born and raised in Petaluma, California. She attended St. Vincent’s School and then graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Accounting. She brings more than 15+ years of accounting experience
to the office.
