Educational Policy and Curriculum Committee (EPCC)

Purpose:

  1. To review educational programs and course offerings, develop and review curricular policy, and to recommend the implementation of these programs and policies to the Faculty Senate.

CURRENT PROCEDURAL OVERVIEW

Any new course, course changes (e.g., name, credits, catalog description or language), course deletion, program changes, or new programs/ minors/concentrations must undergoseveral procedural steps before the approval process is complete and the changes are officially adopted.

The following deadlines apply for all curricular action items to reach EPCC:

Colleges need to submit any program updates for the 2022-2023 academic year by the January 2022 meeting. Any program changes submitted after the January meeting date will go into effect for the 2023-24 academic year.Please contactesharratt@eou.edufor further information.
