Notes on endorsement and specialization:
- This program can only recommend candidates for endorsements in the state of Oregon.
- In order to be recommended for an endorsement for ESOL, reading intervention or special education or a specialization in trauma in educational communities, you must already have an Oregon license because these are not initial licensure programs.
- If you are from another state, you can request that your home state verify your completion of this program. Your home state then determines whether or not to accept our program for your licensure.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reports that high school teachers make an annual median salary of $60,320.¹ Postsecondary teachers make an annual median salary of $78,470.² While high school teaching will experience a 4 percent growth in hiring through 2028, postsecondary teaching will grow 11 percent. Teaching, however, is just one of the many careers available with an online M.S. in education.

Continue teaching at the PK-12 level with enhanced knowledge and skills. You may also pursue a career as an: advanced instructional coach, lead teacher, academic specialist, curriculum coach, curriculum lead, district curriculum administrator or classroom curriculum consultant.
